CAYETANA DESIGNS' Founder and principal designer is Cayetana San Segundo, who boasts more than 15 years of experience as a lead designer. She obtained a BA degree from the Art Institute of Seattle and is an active International Interior Design Association (IIDA) member.
Cayetana is a passionate, organized, and innovative artist who excels at spearheading projects from inception to completion within the allocated timeline. Her expertise extends beyond creating beautiful designs, as she excels in design management and construction relations. In addition, she adheres to interior design principles that prioritize natural light and material, which results in minimalist spaces that promote comfort and functionality for their occupants.
With an extensive background in visual arts, theater, architecture, interior design, and fashion, and having been raised in Ecuador and Europe, Cayetana possesses a versatile skill set that allows her to thrive in various creative roles. Her specialties include residential and commercial interior design, home staging, color theory, editorial styling, visual and creative direction, event design, community relations, retail, visual merchandising, and writing.
Above all, she prioritizes creating spaces that make people feel good about themselves. Her unwavering passion, drive, organization, and creativity enable her to take on projects from concept to successful completion within the specified timeframe.
